More seriously, I know Genom has an antagonistic role in the BGC series,
but I don’t quite see them being able to observe what Skuld does, and
understand what she’s done. Enough at least to warrant abducting her,
strapping her to a life-support machine and somehow forcing her – an
existence beyond the comprehension of humanity, might I add – to do a
series of things through the use of mundane means like drugs and such.

Now, if Genom was run by a Quincy who was backed by more infernal powers,
it’d be an easier sell. Suddenly it becomes a spicy cyberpunk battle
between heaven and hell, with the KS caught right in the crossfire.
