[FFML] Old archives question

Hello all - 
A question for the old-timers: I think I remember a server crash several years back, and now it seems that the archives online only go back to mid-2007. Is that right, or are there older records kicking around somewhere I can't find?
(Trying to re-read a few old Ranma fics that, if I remember right, were posted in the 1998-2000 range. It's not that long ago, right? Really?)
