[FFML] Teaser for multiway crossover [MKR/IY]

Here's the Magic Knight Rayearth / InuYasha section of a multiple
crossover I'm working on.

"Hikaru, doesn't she look a bit like you?"

Hikaru Shidou looked up from her cotton candy, at the red haired girl with
a pigtail that Umi Ryuuzaki had indicated, "A bit, but who's that ugly boy
chasing her?"

"I don't know," Fuu Hououji watched the two disappear into the crowd of the
fair, "People certainly are energtic here tonight."

"Oh, look at that cute costume!" Hikaru finished her snack and ran towards
a boy in a furry costume in a red robe with a flimsy looking sword.

"See Inuyasha, there's all sorts of costumes here tonight so you don't need
a disguise,"  Kagome Higurashi turned back to the half demon she had met
back in the feudal era and saw that a short red haired girl had pressed
herself against him so she could reach up on tippy toes to feel his ears.

"They feel so real!"  Hikaru was dragged back by the other two magic
knights.

"Please excuse our friend," Fuu bowed to the pair, then turned as an
explosion sounded behind her.

"Trouble!"  Inuyasha drew Tetsusaiga and it expanded to its true form.

"He is a demon!"

"Yeah, so you got a problem with that?"  Inuyasha towered over Hikaru.

"Mare Desiderii!",  Hikaru clapped her hands twice and was enveloped in an
opaque veil of flames, when they cleared her diadem became visible and she
was wearing her armor and holding her sword.

"Mare Imbrium!", Umi stood on her toes, arched her back and threw back her
head and arms in a swan dive pose.  An opaque column of water covered her
and when it withdrew she was also in armor with sword.

"Mare Tranquillitatis!",  Fuu raised her arms above her head.  A completely
transparent gust of wind ripped away her glasses, clothing and underwear and a
moment later her armor appeared and fastened itself around her body and her
sword appeared in her lifted hands.

"Exhibitionist."

Fuu blinked as she adjusted to feeling the world around her with the latent
winds rather than seeing it with her own uncorrected eyesight, "Did you say
something Umi?"

"Nothing, let's get the demon."

The three magic knights struck as one, leaping forwards and swinging their
Escudo swords down towards the half-demon prince.

Inuyasha disarmed all three girls with one side to side swing of
Tetsusaiga, ripping their swords from their hands and causing them to tumble
through the air behind them.

The three girls turned around and saw that their swords were flying towards
a crowd that had turned to see the earlier commotion.  They made closing
motions with their hands and the three blades turned into a puff of flame,
a splash of water and a tiny cloud of vapor which all dissipated harmlessly
in midair.

Inuyasha took advantage of their distraction to swat their backsides with
the flat of his blade, sending all three sprawling.

"Inuyasha!"

He turned to Kagome, "What's the matter?  They attacked me and I'm not
hurting them," He turned back as he reflectively deflected Hikaru's fire
arrow spell with his sword.

Hikaru saw that her projectile had set a stall on fire, "Umi!", she turned
back to the demon and resummoned her sword.  She unleshed a flurry of blows,
but Inuyasha tossed her back with one swing.

"I'm on it!"  Umi put out the fire with a focused jet of water.

"Hikaru!"  Fuu closed her eyes and concentrated on the air around them,
"Winds of Abdonishment!"

Kagome saw that Inuyasha was trapped inside a minature tornado.  She turned
and ran in the direction of an archery stall she had seen previously.

Inuyasha struggled to hold his sword in front of him as he concentrated on
the energy of the vortex around him.  Then he saw it, the point where the
winds met.  He swung Tetsusaiga at that point, "Wind Scar!"

Fuu focused the winds Inuyasha had unleashed on herself as she canceled
them, to spare the civilians nearby.  She fell to her knees.

"Fuu!" Hikaru had returned with Umi, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Fuu stood with the help of her friends.

"Let's finish this,"  Hikaru stood between the other two magic knights,
"Summon your swords."

The three girls brought the tips of their swords together as they said in
unison, "Spiral Flash!"

Inuyasha could sense that the spiral of red, green and blue energies slowly
coming towards him was one of the most powerful attacks he had ever seen.
He risked a moment to glance around him.  He could hop two meters to the
side and the blast would probably just continue in a straight line towards
the empty forest behind him, but Kagome had returned and was watching.  It
always made he so hot when he did some big stunt, so he decided to take his
chances in the hope of getting lucky later.

He drew back his mighty blade and began a great swing, "Back-", the strain
was too much, he couldn't do it, "-Lash-", with the last limit of his
strength he completed the swing, "-Wave!"  The feedback knocked him out and
tossed him far back into the forest.

"Inuyasha!"  Kagome ran towards the point where he had landed and so did
not see the destruction he had unleashed.

Hikaru could see the half a dozen tri-colored tornadoes headed towards her,
her friends and the crowd behind her, she banished her sword and held her
hands out, "Holy Pillar hear my plea.  Whatever happens to me, do not let
the people behind me suffer for my foolishness."

In Cephiro the power of the Pillar was almost unlimited and Hikaru was
widely regarded as one of the most strong willed and hence powerful Pillars
anyone had seen, but Cephiro was a long way from Earth.  Even so the power
of the Pillar responded and a red dome of energy appeared around her.

The other two magic knights held her hands and each other's.  Stripes of
green and blue appeared in the dome.  All three could sense that it
wouldn't be enough.

Across the fair, others of power could feel the scale of the attack that
was headed towards them.
