My copies have it down as "Kerasine".

Also you should probably call it a "designer drug" instead of a hypnotic 
narcotic, since kerasine is probably so far removed from opium (base of 
narcotics) as not to matter. To hear the cops talk about it, kerasine is 
the Swiss Army Knife of drugs, acting as an upper, downer, sidewayser, 
or big hairy spider weebleweeblescluper, depending on how much you take, 
in addition to the post-hypnotic whammy. That screams "designer" to me.
