Really? I thought it was because you couldn't tell the difference between "a
discussion the ffml" and a private e-mail, because you just replied to a
private e-mail on list. Which, y'know...bad form.

 1. was a typo, and...
 2. since she's not a doctor, coach, or teacher I don't see how sensei
is appropriate (I've never taken drawing classes from her!).

"Sensei" is ALSO, just for your information (and for the collective as well,
since you were kind enough to drag this onto the FFML where it didn't
belong), used for writers and manga artists. As well as other professional
artisans. Basically, anyone who is acknowledged as a master of their
particular craft can AND SHOULD BE referred to as 'sensei'...WHETHER OR NOT
you, personally, have EVER "taken classes from" them.

And for a third or fourth time, I don't really think any of this
matters. It has no bearing on the plotline she established, and
therefore, I would argue should have no bearing on our fanfiction
without goo explanation as to why it should.

Soooo...replying to a private e-mail ON LIST *DOES* somehow have a bearing
on fanfiction? To the point where you specifically changed the "To:" address
to post it to the FFML?

But then, who am I anyway?

Good question.

Just a Sailor Moon author from the nineties
who hasn't produced anything SM in a long time. Whether you feel I'm
even qualified to discuss the state of SM fanfiction at this point is
entirely up to you...

I don't give a shit what you are or are not qualified to discuss, just don't
reply to private e-mails on-list.

I only jumped in because I'm a cynic who sees astronomers swayed by
dollar signs being waved at them from a publishing lobby.

Yyyyyeah....maybe you should review the FFML FAQ before you "jump in" next
time...

Matter of fact, this entire topic of discussion needs to be allowed to die,
as it's entirely irrelevant...spamfics notwithstanding.
