Okay people, straight and to the point:

If you are using an e-mail client that, for whatever bullshit reason,
decides to display anything between asterisks as boldfaced text, despite the
original transmission having NO TEXT FORMATTING WHATSOEVER...

...that is officially NOT MY PROBLEM, and you can go sit on it.

Furthermore, there is no such thing as a "standard" for how emphasis is
placed on unformatted text in fanfiction. Each author has their own personal
style, and NO one person has the right to dictate to another how they should
or should not "format" their own work unless it is UNREADABLE.

Now, I expect to see no further ridiculous comments about asterisks. Capice?
