Look, you were tempbanned for actively exhorting people on the list to  
buy something you'd written.

You obviously don't think that was fair. But it's ridiculous to  
extrapolate that any mentioning of professional works will get one  
banned. It's like getting a parking ticket and concluding that the  
police are out to get anyone who owns a car.

Mentioning professional work: Okay.
Asking people to buy that work: Not okay.

I've more to say, but I think I'd better take it private at this  
point, or we'll have *two* admins serving out tempbans. :/
