It's been about 24 hours since I asked about those interested in posting 
Harry Potter stories.
Here are the results:

Total people interested: 11

Of those,
HP crossed over with one or more anime series: 3

At this point, I don't think Harry Potter will become an epidemic... but 
that is my opinion only.

Maybe, over time, Harry Potter story traffic will reach the doomsday 
status that Krista was predicting.
At that time, perhaps, someone will create a spin-off ML to handle 
strictly Harry Potter traffic.

BTW: I did get a couple of people state that although they weren't 
interested in posting Harry Potter, the would like C&C for stories they 
have written within the following Universes:
Invader Zim
Kim Possible
Red Dwarf
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Honor Harrington

That being said, this mailing list is and has always been: The Anime 
Fanfiction Mailing List.

By adding all kinds of non anime titles, we are making a fundamental 
change to the purpose of this mailing list.

At this point in time, the admins have not made any decisions concerning 
expanding beyond the sphere of anime fanfiction, so please, stick to 
anime titles for your story works being posted here. There are plenty of 
exciting series to pick from, such as:
Jojo's bizarre adventure
Chrono Crusade
Combustible Campus Guardess
D.N.Angel
Moldiver
Bubblegum Crisis
Ninja Scroll
Dirty Pair
City Hunter
Golden Boy
Those who hunt elves

And there are a lot more.
