Again, I'd suggest reading "Thy Outward Part" first to understand the

Bah. Backstory is for wimps.
Ranma frowned after her. Some problems were easy to define, others less so.
More and more she was coming to understand why her father had lived the way
he had.
Yeah. One of my shelved stories featured a future Ranma who had a
distinct tendency to deal with Akane by taking frequent "training
trips". Never came up with a plot for it.
Hopefully, she was forced to say to herself, he was nothing at all like
Ranma was at that age.
He's a college freshman. By the time Ranma was that age, he was a
fulltime girl.
Ranma let out a breath through her nose, still kissing him but not as
forcefully. It actually didn't feel too bad. Strange and alien - that was
a part of her body that she hadn't thought of as particularly sensitive.
Her breast? Ok that would require some fearsome powers of denial.
With an effort, Ranma picked up her own book, settled back into the futon,
and began to contemplate.
Is that anything like thinking?
Tange stepped lightly into the room. He was wearing a dark red gi tied with
a black belt. He grinned at Ranma as he took position opposite her in the
center of the room. "How ya doing, Saotome."
I find it curious that even though Tange has been trying to provoke her
with crude verbal advances he keeps his mode of address impersonal.
"Maybe. But I could very well easily been him. If it hadn't been for
Jusenkyo, I could have gone to college as Tange."
Nabiki: Trust me, Ranma, you were much more obnoxious...
