The senshi might not fight worth spit, but they ARE
powerful. Best description I ever read of Sailor Moon
called her a "magical howitzer." :)

Another point you sometimes see is that most of the
bad guys the senshi fight absord the life-force from
people. That renders many of Ranma's attacks useless.
No ki blasts for certain.
