While I really appreciate all the scrubbing that you've done
for both the recent chapters and the older ones of "Relentless,"
I think that you should know that some of the corrections you
have suggested are not totally on the mark.
This is what the current edition of the Chicago Manual of Style
says about these instances of capitalization:
- Kinship names uppercased when used in substitute of proper names.
"You need a haircut, Dad."
- Kinship names are not uppercased after a pronoun.
"My dad needs a haircut."
- Pet names and temporary epithets are not capitalized.
"I like my hair this way, sweetheart."
"Sorry, old man, but I think it makes you look like a Wookie."
The examples are mine, but the rules are from the book.
