I'm rather late on this, and for all I know, someone else could already have
pointed it out off the list. I've checked it with Gary's comments, anyway.

Certainly, the rest of her family was reacting to this latest escapade with 
their normal levels of composure (or lack of it thereof).

I'm not sure, but it sounds a little odd to say "lay" about the direction of a
person who probably isn't lying down? 

Then there's been the matter of travel - each of them had their own theories
about how to make their way across town.

I think it's either Houkoudan or Hokodan, though I'm not absolutely positive.
But I'm sure the last vowel is an "a".

He envied the way that Ryouga and Akane could let the tears fall, but he 
couldn't allow it in himself.  

Just quoting this sentence because I remember it so well, and have always liked
it. :)
