normal boy (If you can consider having ALL the quirks he has normal
anyway...) is surfing the web, trying to solve one of his primordial
problems...
I'll note that, particularly in plain text, a blank line is often a
better indicator of a new paragraph than indentation. The fic felt a
bit bunched up just from the appearance.
Also, when beginning a parenthetical aside (like this one), don't
capitalize the first letter.
"Damn, fanfiction.net is down, I can't get on the FFML and I've
read all the new fics on the other fanfic sites I've bookmarked..." Shad
sighed depressed "Well, s'pose I gotta go looking for more?"

know what sort of software a webpage can require; is it just media, or
an applet, or what? Might be good to give a few more details, or avoid
the aside completely. I mean, most people are used to occasional
delays on the web, right?
