This would require a rather more sympathetic view of the old fart
that we usually see, and is probably too involved for what would be a
sidestory at best to the main plot of Ranma's succession as Sailor
Kronos (So he/she has the power of the Klingon homeworld, then?)

That was my initial reaction to the Limbospace, too...I have to wonder, but
I doubt it's what it seems.
