enemy. :)
Actually, historically, you don't have too many villainous slugs. I
wonder
why.

That was a giant stone slug blocking the path. Hardly villainous. Even
Kojiro was a more dangerous villain... and we all know how effective HE
was.
"Because the chains will drop the ones you don't save into the
cookpot," Suetake warned.
Best to take out the cookpot then.
Now, that's something _I_ hadn't considered. Wish I had, but I
didn't, so....

How about the fact that the cookpot is the only thing keeping that
liquid in place? Knocking it over would expose more than just the three
girls to it, not to mention probably causing irreparable damage to the
stage.
