If I recall correctly Carnage destroyed the emergency generators in the last 
chapter.  What I find odd is the lack of battery powered emergency exit 
lighting (those little spotlight things you see over the primary and 
emergency exits to public buildings, they automatically come on when power is 
cut to the battery maintenance system.).  One would think that those would be 
mandated in an earthquake plagued country such as Japan, just as they are in 
my hurricane battered state of Florida.  Perhaps Hisami's company had the 
contract for the hospital and decided to cut corners?

I am also wondering why Carrot's avatar was able to be intimate with Michiru 
so soon after essentially being raped.  Traumas like that tend to lead to all 
manner of sexual dysfunction, especially in men.  (Yes men can be raped)  His 
psyche must heal faster then his body.

Always a pleasure to read some of Carrotglace's work though.
