It's been a long time since I had anything to do with Spidey, but
didn't Jameson, in the comics, think all that Spiderman stuff was a
hoax?  I seem to recall that Peter was forever bringing in pictures
and having them rejected because Spiderman doesn't exist.  I imagine
the same reasoning would apply to Sailor Moon or Spiderwoman.

Nope. Jameson has a real hate-on for Spider-Man, to the point of 
reinterpreting reality... in one anniversary issue, he retells the entire 
history he's had with Spidey, his opinions on him, and basically he sees 
him as nothing but the worst kind of criminal, using his great power for 
great irresponsibility, exactly the opposite of the credo that Peter lives 
his life by.
Jameson, in fact, was the one who commissioned and funded one of the 
comics' rogues gallery regulars, the Spider Slayer robots. So I'd say he 
believes in him. n.n;;
