Of course,  It would not be true to the LoveCraftian writing style (Which
the author should take some pride in knowing that he is very true to it.)
Mr. LoveCraft never wrote a "Happily ever after" ending.  It wasn't right
for the work he did and wouldn't be right for any homage to the style.
