that hasn't had at least one accidental discharge. If this had been

Say what? I've handled firearms for years without an 'accidental discharge',
my parents and grandparents have too.  The police somehow manage to do it
too.  Accidental discharge happens mostly around untrained users and
alcohol.  This Ranma knows how to keep the gun from firing accidentally.
Keep it out of fires, don't pull the trigger, and don't drop it with the
hammer back.  And even in the last case, many pistols still won't fire, as
they have a safety that prevents discharge unless the trigger is pulled.

Most 'accidental' discharges come from children or drunks fooling around.
The weapon works as it's supposed to, because the trigger gets pulled with a
round in the chamber.
