I think Nightelf's point is, and correct me if I'm
wrong, that Shampoo's 'training' at Juusenkyo was
undeniably a direct punishment for not killing
onna-Ranma.

Criticizing Nightelf's use of Shampoo as a villain in
this work is a bit unfair, because if you say 'Why
Shampoo?' why can't you say 'Why Ukyo?' or 'Why
Cologne?' The villain could be anybody, and I have a
feeling you would have said something along those
lines, or somebody would have no matter what.
Soo why Shampoo? Because Nightelf wanted to make
Shampoo a villain in Akane's eyes. 
I always, when I critique a fic, try to, instead of
saying to the auther 'change this now,' suggest
politely to the author 'maybe it'd be better to add a
little more emphasis on why Shampoo is the villain
here.' 
Things tend to work better when people are polite.
Now to the fun part: 
Nick...Nightelf. I have one huuuge problem with your
story, but somehow I don't think you'll mind. 
It's way too short!!
Super plot development, I would've liked to see more
about Kaori (she intrigues me as a character), but
that kinda falls under 'too short.'
I think the 'Shampoo problem' is insignificant, and I
don't see it as villifying her in the least,
personally. just wierd :}
