I've loved ADP since Chapter One.  The reasons?

You're making Pluto the "villain" WITHOUT making her evil or callous
She also is capable of making mistakes (far too many fanfics equate Pluto
with Kami-Sama)
The other Outer Senshi aren't in on it (far too many fanfics have also
Uranus and Neptune cast as Pluto's lackeys)
Ranma apparently has enough of a brain something is VERY wrong with Akane

Some things of note on chapter three

1:  Yuka and Sayuri - YAHOOOO!  Finally, a fic that treats these characters
as something other than background noise!  Even Hirosuke and Daisuke get
more fic time than these two and this fic is better for it.

2.  The letter written to them is the final sign that something is very very
wrong with Akane; either magically or psychologically

"What I find interesting," Ranma said quietly, "is
that the person who kidnapped Akane sent *you* two
letters."

3.  Oddly enough, Ranma's theory makes more sense than what is really
happening: implying once again that some thing is VERY wrong with Akane's
head.

It was postmarked 'Juuban'.

4.  Just about the ONLY plot hole in this story so far is this: why didn't
Nabiki check the postmark or the return address if she's obviously being so
thorough in searching for her and dead set on getting her back.

Her younger sister glared.  "I don't care!  Akane
can't just run out on us.  I won't let her!  She is
supposed to be Ranma's fiancee - what if Daddy dearest
decides one of us can fill the role instead?  I'm not
going to put up with the insanity.  She is going to
come back and she's going to marry the man she loves
and she is going to fulfil her responsibilities!"
With that, Nabiki spun on her heel and stalked off.

5.  While the search for Akane so far is very IC for most of the cast,  the
above seems borderline OOC for Nabiki.  Throughout most of series she's
incredibly disdainful of the omai, even going so far as to treat it as
source for cash.  However, she's also depicted in fanfics as being very
"cross my family and die."  I'm going to attribute it to the build up of
stress.

6.  Eagerly awaiting one hell of a fight scene.  Either that or Usagi
finally knocking Pluto off her high horse.
