It galled Cologne to admit it, even to herself, but she'd certainly have
thought about it.  "Then who's idea was it?  Surely not Son-in-laws?" she
asked.

"Akane's," Nabiki replied smugly.

"Akane!  Why?!" Shampoo demanded.

"She didn't give any reasons, but it was during the second month of her
pregnancy that she suggested it.  Right after she was hospitalized for
dehydration from morning sickness.  Ranma called it all day and all night
sickness.  Akane seemed to referred it to as 'Damn you, Ranma Saotome'
sickness."  She grinned, "I can't imagine why."

Admittedly, with Dan-chan, there wasn't a great deal of morning sickness
(except after a night of overindulging on clam dip), so I can't speak for
that personally.  However, I *love* the vengeance involved here of "I
wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy... well, wait a minute, maybe I would."

Nice work, indeed.  And thank you for not including me in it, sugar.
