A slip, didn't notice this email wasn't sent to the list!
And Thomas, there's an extra line here you should look at.

I haven't actually read up to this point, so I would be
interested in a quick summary (or a volume or chapter so I can look it
up) if you could spare the time.
I have a stack of summaries collected from the Megami ML, but I'm in the
office right now. In the meantime, I can point you to a website that has
scripts of the manga. http://nekomikodai.otakalypse.com/manga/manga.html
Keiichi's parents show up in vols 23 and 24. When I can, I'll send the
summaries plus a few pictures of them.
I'd really like to stay as consitant as reasonably possible with
character portrayals and events in the manga,
but if something recently introduced directly conflicts with
our plot, we might have to adjust things as necessary.
That depends. Do you have a father who insists that his children refer to
them by name and is so afraid of women, he jumps away if they get within a
meter of him? Do you have a mother who is a master at playing Mahjong and
loves making blind guesses?
Actually, as it was in Mirror, the racing is just a subplot. The main
plot will become more evident as the story goes on.
I knew that. I was just wondering if someday, an author would write a fic
where Keiichi and co. are involved in a race. AMG is about motor racing as
much as magic.
We threw in the office chair as well as a
number of other things as rejected ideas, not really meant to be viable.
But that little bit broadened your horizons didn't it?
and we needed a reason for Belldandy to be alone with Urd to advance the
plot.
Let's say Keiichi is going out to buy motor parts. Will that do?
And I'd like to ask you about this section:
Having met just minutes ago at their spot by the fountain, Keiichi walked
beside Belldandy
and
Walking home, Keiichi had noted, was actually the most peaceful time of the
day.
Are you saying that Keiichi met Belldandy at the fountain in the campus,
then WALKED back to the temple?
What Aoshima has on the line isn't mentioned yet. It's left intentionally
vague.
Since they offered the Auto Club charter, he ought to offer his club's
charter.
In answer to one of your questions, at the time, we were not aware that
Urd had an angel of her own--in fact, given that she had just ordered an
angel egg, we assumed that she *didn't* have one. That said, some of the
facts about angels introduced into the later manga volumes didn't exactly
match ours.<<
Yet you managed to write a scene that was almost identical to one in the
manga. That's very good!
Also, the weakened link between Belldandy and her angel is a big plot
point.
This is *absolutely essential* to our plot, and really isn't something
that can
be changed now.
I can accept that. Just remember that, when not summoned, angels reside
within their hosts, not tucked away in some pocket dimension.
It is also what is preventing Belldandy from being able
to sense or recall Blessed Bell.
Please, stop using THAT name! There's a way out. Have Belldandy try to
recall Holybell shortly after summoning her and failing, place it before
this line:
"Come on, Blessed Bell," said Belldandy, gesturing toward the door, "I'd
like to introduce you to someone who's very special to me."
THEN you have an excuse for needing people to babysit the angel.
Again, thank you for your comments, and we're all ears if anyone has
anything to add.
As I asked before, are you going to have the High Lord of Hell show up or
mentioned? There are some things you need to know about HER before you do
so.
