A nice piece of writing. ^_*

(1) The graduation exam that you have to take in
Japan in referred to as
far as I know as juken. Feel free to correct me if
I'm wrong. ^_^

@@That seems to be correct.

(2) Condoms are always considered a Good Thing.
Condoms in opaque packages
are even better, considering that they won't get
worn out under harsh
light. Then there's also the thing about keeping the
things away from
extreme temperatures, but that almost goes without
saying. This has been my
public help hint of the day.

@@Condoms are VERY popular in Japan.
Example:
126 million people buy 250M condom/year.

A giant yellow dancing condom at Condomania
on Omotesando st. Tokyo. Featuring sushi flavored
condoms, the "big boy" and the "wee willie" as well as
a "Christmas"gift pack
containing two condoms, a chocolate, a little Father
Christmas and a toy fir tree.

The "Pill" was recently approved in Japan, so this
popularity may change, but there still seems to be a
stigma against the "Pill"

The Taiho Pharmaceutical Company, launched the Female
Condom in Japan using the trade name, Myfemy in 1999.

As a side note, Usagi could have bought her condoms
from a vending machine (which seems more likely if she
were at all embarrased) And, culturally speaking, I'd
think that Usagi's mother, being of an older
generation, would be less open about the whole thing
(my information is that people used to wrap their
condoms in newspaper after buying so no one would know
what they had. And the vending machines were very
popular for the same reason)

(3) In one episode of Sailor Moon S, to save Usagi's
secret identity,
Minako and the others put together a plan that
involved her using the Luna
Pen to transform into a false Sailor Moon.

@@Ummm . . .I'll have to go back and look at that
episode, but I thought they just made Minako up to
look like SM. (Not very well, since the 'odango' were
lopsided. ^_^) I don't _think_ the Luna Pen was used,
but I could be wrong. (If it was, they need to change
the batteries ^_O)
