Just a few comments to make... hope I don't sound bitter, because I'm
really not.

Episode:  Chapter 9: To Sleep, Perchance Together

Distance I can buy, reciprocal damage I can buy, but where the spoon

does

"your clothes will ooze acid" fit into two souls being forcibly

shackled

together? For that matter, why hasn't it happened to Kodachi and

Gosunkugi?

Has their contract not been in effect long enough?

The acid forced them to remove their clothes once the two were in the
same bed, which is quite a provocative position for the couple to be in
before being married. The idea is that, by the time the contract's magic
runs its course, the pairs will be living so much like married couples
that marriage itself (which will naturally terminate the conditions)
will seem like a release. As for why it hasn't happened to Kodachi and
Gosunkugi... they haven't gone to bed yet. The conditions are imposed
not on the basis of time, but how many contracts have been signed so
far. (Which is why the fifth contract is the all-important one.)

Aside from the diablo ex machina, it's a decent part, though not much

really

_happens_.

True... this is the reason I haven't released a new chapter in such a
long time. The story is proceeding far more slowly than I'd like, and
I'm not quite sure how to steer it to where I want it to end up. Oh
well. As you may have noticed, I'm rewriting A Deadly Choice, and The
Contract is next on the list. When the time comes to rewrite this
chapter, I'll look into removing the acid bit and see if I can combine
my idea for this chapter with the next one somehow.

Title:  A General Time Paradox
Episode: 6-9

It's just enough temporal physics to be plausible and just enough so

that

I'm looking at it and wondering what you were smoking.

I tried to make it as interesting as possible while explaining why
events on Pluto's level are taking place the way they are. The
discussion of the Guardians of Time will have relevance later, but
trying to explain it at that time would be impossible.

I don't really expect the reader to agree with this system of temporal
physics any more than with the various forms of magic or energy weaponry
in any other anime series. But at least this way, you'll understand
what's going on.

I'm _pretty_ sure Mistress 9 and Pharoah 90 have different reasons for

the

numbers. Then again, my manga knowledge is pretty unclear as regards

Sailor

Moon. ...come to think of it, that's how I feel about a lot of what

goes on.

There's blank space that you're filling with something that certainly
_sounds_ plausible, but it just feels wrong to me.

My manga knowledge of Sailor Moon is zero. So I don't know what reason,
if any, the numbers were originally meant to serve; but I don't think it
conflicts with being members of a race of creators.

But again, that's
personal. There's nothing off about the story itself - I'd watch the

fourth

wall, it buckles in a few places (Lina calling Ranma's violence "comic
relief") but mostly holds steady.

That violation of the fourth wall is pure Slayers canon. (During the
final battle in the first season, when Prince Philionel shows up,
Zelgadis quips that they couldn't have a purely serious episode in a
series like Slayers.) "Mostly holding steady" is the intention.

Those of you out there who fancy yourselves such should give this a

try,

though.

down on the spacing and it'll be readable. Cut down on the H and it'll

tolerable.

I'll do what I can about the style, although it will take a long time...
*groan* As for the hentai-ness, I do try to keep it clean (pretty sure
nothing's worse than PG-13 material, unless I'm forgetting something
really bad), and I don't publicize any of the material without the
approval of the original author.

And yes, I know they're just suggestions and I'm free not to act on
them, but they are good suggestions. They'll just take an Ice Age or two
to implement. Maybe I'll just try it with the (hopefully) upcoming
release of my new MST and see how it goes.
