BTW, I forgot to thank Wade Tritschler for allowing me to use his creation Frost
in my story, and I want to correct that error here.  I am planning to have her act
as a counterpoint to DB Sommer's creation of Ghost Sweeper Minami.

As will be seen, Belldandy will be making her presence known in the background

I guess it's unlikely that the Institute and Heaven use the same scale for
ranking power. Is the Institute's scale ascending or descending?

Ascending.  Four is a pretty high-ranking spiritual entity.  Urd and Skuld would
likely rank somewhere between three and four.

If you'd like some advice on Belldandy's combat abilities ( for a future
chapter perhaps), use wind based attacks and defenses and use her angel as
well.

Thanks.  Belldandy is more of a background character though.

You're starting many treads, try to stay focused.

I am trying.  This chapter advanced a number of plot threads I already had in
place though.  The big one was moving forward on Gos's big spell, which turned
out to be a trick being played on him by Simon Magus in order to get him to
weaken his mental defenses enough to allow possession.  Unfortunately, the
interference of Frost blew that plan out of the water, unintentionally giving Gos
access to some magic, primarily of an illusionary nature.  He will also have some
lingering personality quirks from Simon that will emerge as time goes on.
