It's ironic that what's probably my last message to the FFML (at least this
incarnation) is not really a good-bye to the list, but a good-bye to a great
science fiction writer. According to the SFWA members mailing list, author
Gordon R. Dickson (best known for his "Dorsai" cycle, but an author of over
50 years' standing) died this morning. I figure there's enough overlap here
that it's of interest to most folks.
So long, Gordy... we'll miss you.
