Hello list. I have some minor points about Chinese renderings. Disclaimer:
my parents speak the language, but I just listen to it. And took a couple
classes. ^^

If this is a Chinese version of Ranma's name, it should probably be Luan Ma;
Ranma was referred to as such in an Amazon newspaper in the Pink and Link
story.
That zhongwen.com link is pretty cool. ^^ As confirmation

has the two characters in question. Of course, this required that someone
had seen Ranma's name written; if they had just heard it spoken a more
accurate rendering would be Lan Ma. At least in my opinion. I guess it's up
to you to judge in which way they obtained his name.
turned half around to see a group of warriors approaching led by the
assassin Spi Tse.
Suggest: "Si Pisi"
Si Paisi would be better, if you're aiming for Spice. "Pi" rhymes with "me".
"... the Warrior Tsen Te ..."
Suggest: Cen Te
You're going for Scent here, I think. Why use "tsen/cen" at all when you can
use "sen" ? Or is this just to give it a more Chinese flavor?
"... the Warrior Kor Tsaj ..."
Corsage? "Kuo" might better capture the vowel. "Kou" rhymes with "low",
"kuo" sounds like... "quarter" as a Bostonian might say it. ^^ And "Sazhi"
is preferable to me also.
Other than that, all of Gary's suggestions seem spot-on. Hope this helped!
