What was really well done was the fact that this was a very original way to
setup two otherwise unmatchable characters. I've found myself steering away
from fics in which characters are matched up because of their lack of
originality and proper characterization.



Here, you even do a damn good job of setting the timeline without ever
saying 'This is set 6 mos to a year after Ranma's failed wedding'. Thorn's
admittance of her sins and problems via the chat screens does all that for us.

My Guesses as to the Coversants:



Handsome: Pantsuto Tarou - The trashtalk is a dead giveaway, but I beleive
that 'Handsome' was the VIZ translation for the name he tried to choos.

Mage: Ranma (or possibly Nabiki?) The way he squabbles with Handsome, I'm
almost certain it's Ranma. Ranma would also need to be up early to spar
with Genma.

BigGuy: Shinnosuke - Memory Lapses. Cute.

BandannaMan: Ryouga - actually, this is pretty damn funny. My 404 page at
furinkan.net features Ryouga trying to figure out where the hell he is.

Theif:

Queen and BigPig: Are both pretty obvious. Konatsu and Akari (A frequent
'Booby Prize' Couple)

HappyDay: Sweeto! While this *should* be obvious, there are many, many
thousands of chatters who would break into a room like this.

Theif: This is the only one I couldn't get a semi-solid lock on. I'm
*guessing* it's Akane and her inferiority complex.
