Ranma accidentally gets sent back in time to Clow Reed's home. Ranma is 9
years old and Clow Reed finds him. Ranma explains where he is from and Reed
knows that he's from another time. He detects the hidden potential in Ranma
and starts to teach him magic. He makes Ranma his apprentice then Heir. When
Ranma is 11 Reed has made the Cards and tells Ranma that the only way he can
get him back to his time is to seal him in a Card. Ranma aggress and is put
into the Wild Horse Card. When Sakura releases the Cards she has two Cards
with her. The Windy Card and Wild Horse Card. When Kero explains about what
is happening he tells her about Ranma and urges her to free him. She dispels
Ranma and a black-haired pig-tailed 11 year old boy appears before her.
Ranma ask her what year it is and finds out it's 4 years before he
disappeared. This means there's a 5 year old Ranma and something something
year old Genma wandering about out there. Ranma decides to go home and
discovers that his earlier self hasn't left yet. He goes to Nodoka and tells
her the truth. He explains how his life was hell under Genma. And how he
never got to keep any friends. Nodoka forbids Genma to take the younger
Ranma on a training trip. Thanks to a spell Reed cast Ranma had learned all
about the deals Genma had made. He tells Nodoka of the Neko-ken training. He
tells of the trick Genma pulled on Ukyou. Nodoka gets her katana and goes
after Genma. She's yelling he's an idiot. Can anyone say Genma ka-bob. With
the past altered time traveling Ranma should fade out of existence but the
connection to the Clow Cards anchors him to the Time Stream. Ranma goes back
to Sakura and helps her capture the Cards. Li shows up and demands the Cards
for himself. Ranma introduces himself as Reed's Heir and pulls seniority. Li
says that since Ranma is the Heir then the Cards go to whoever he says they
do.
