[FFML] [SLR][C&C] The Really Late Synopses List Review: all of the missing dates

Okay kids, I finshed with everything except for the traditional school
play that I have to direct for the kiddies at the school I teach in. After
that semestral break begins. Anyway, since this thing has
been waiting a long time, I'm going to just slam it all down in an
orgy of endless reading, editing and, of course, writing and typing.

This SLR will cover the Synopses List for August 25, September 8,
September 15, September 22, September 29 and October 8.

Mass Review:

Okay, since I show up for a cameo in this one this automatically recommends
it for instant readership. ^_^

Anyway, a very nicely written work for an SI, though most of the problem for
this one is the pacing. It could have been much longer, you know, if it went a
bit slower on the pace. The descriptions are nice but they're a bit sparse at
times.

I know, I know, I maybe asking too much, but Jamie Wilde spoiled me with
his Saotome Gambit and now I'm expecting that certan level of narration for
my space operas. The piece already has shine, all it needs is a few more
doodads and polish to make it a real masterpiece. Keep up the good work.
recommended for a light read.

Review:

You know, this is a bit big for a Monster Rancher fic. ^_-

Also it has more depth than I would ever have thought, but Platinum Dragon's
previous works in the field of Monster Rancher have proven me wroung once
and they prove me wrong once again.

This work is good, very good. If I were to give out a comparison, i'd rank it with
Pokemon Master in the way Mr. Dragon handles the story and the narration.
A ood command of the language and very fluid prose with the requisite nice
descriptions show this to have the makings of a classic.

Highly recommended.

Well, Komodo has finally finished this.

First of all, typos galore and the format is a bit nasty. Please try to leave
a space between the line of asterisk and the end of a scene. Well-done,
but as always, could have been better. Dialogue was a bit nice, though.

This has potential but as always polish is needed.

The answer may seem obvious, but the road to pregnancy is not smooth for
this couple.

Review:

You know, as time progresses, the more FFML posts get tainted with a bit of
lime. Or is it just because that most posters of the FFML are horny? ^_^

Anyway, Mr. Lazar, mixes in his traditional flair for this sort of thing with normal
storytelling. Keep up the good work!

Mass Review:

I love this series. Yeah, I know, a lot of people complain about it but that
is part and parcel of writing a fanfic. Besides, I always come to a story
expecting it to be total crap, so I have very low or no expectations at all. ^_^

Anyway, this is a materpiece of prose. I mean it. The narrative is great, with
evocative descriptions, that you can feel the emotions. So, chuch everything
aside and read this baby. There maybe some problems accepting it, but
if you try really hard and suspend your disbelief, like every decent reader
should do, it can be quite enjoyable. Just go on for the ride.

Heck, this is almost as good as the commercially released stuff. Highly
recommended.

Review:

Okay, let's be honest. First of all, the title makes me want to chuck this baby
in the trash bin. Anyway, after it hovered over the DEL key for awhile I
relented, remembering never to judge a book by its cover.

Try to fix the format. I don't indent in my reviews because they're informal
pieces more or less. Also you miss a few periods (pardon the pun). Also why
are there two spaces instead of one after periods. Could you at least make it
easier on my eyes?

Sorry about that, professional side taking over. Anyway, the story on the overall
is well-written, just a bit scruffy on the format side, though I don't get it. I'm willing
enough to go for a ride though.

longer chapters rather than these sort ones that leave me hungry for more. ^_^

Review:

The entire thing is actually pretty well-written under some standards.
Good enough for me. Though it is still needs a bit of polish. The flow
of the narrative is very natural, though, something I should praise you
for.

But as I said it needs polish. Breaking off the dialogue lines with narration
lines to give emphasis, the fact that Kuno sounds intelligent, and other stuff
like that. ^_^ Also there seems to be a disruption in time. <ominous Guardian
of Time voice> Some of the scenes should be placed in the first chapter, like
the Nabiki scene.

Other than that, this is a recommended read.

Well, this is an excellent series. I've read the entire thing straight up to
# 10 and I must say it is quite good, though Mr. X has moments were he
is obviously standing on a soapbox and trying to say something. Well,
he does say something. Interesting ideas overall, it reminds me that I
really should get cracking on my own fic dealing with the philosophical
side of the SM cosmology, putting it into my rather psychotic worldview
as framed by Kant and Hobbes and a few other people.

Anyway, this fic is highly recommended. Well-written and very articulate
though you do have to have a bit of a background with the Mr. X's
particular universe to understand it at times.

I can't stop raving about Mr. Hudson's fics. The man is a genius!

The fic is very well-written and it is a great read. I promise that you'll enjoy it.

Surprisingly enough this is quite good. Don't get fooled by the crappy
formatting or that really irritating scene-breaker. Also the fact that it
reads a bit like an SI. I think the writer _is_ a ten-year-old, so be gentle. ^_^

My advice here is to clean up the formatting and get a more eye-friendly
scene break, a row asterisks perhaps.

Other than that this is actually pretty good. Just try to polish it up.

You know I just watch a Japanese show that looked like a blatant rip-off
of Buffy, except that instead of one Buffy-like character it had four and
the Giles character is a babe with a propensity for wearing spaghetti straps
and tight, tight pants or cut-off shorts. Really weird.

Anyway, after that weird tangent, we come to the fic. It has this really big
formatting problem. Try to fix that, along with most of punctuations. The
prose style just seems

Well, another action-packed chapter of the bloodbath. ^_^

I really loved Zeiram when I first watched it, so I really liked this one, too.
As always, the fic has D.B.'s trademark flair and style with words, along
with his knack for injecting humor into any situation. Except for the fact that
my copy's formatting was really crappy, it's a great piece of work.

I suggest cleaning up the presentation/format a bit. It hurts my eyes.

Mass Review:

On the overall, the thing is a bit clunky. The prose and narration are smooth
but there are noticeable bumps in the road. The dialogue is like this, too.
But it's a godd piece of work, though I am a bit jaded by Ranma. Gods, I should
be screaming like crazy having to read all these Ranma fics. ^_^

Read this. You will not regret it. Jamie Wilde is probably one of the best
writers out there on the merit of this fic alone. I wouldn't be surprised if
we see Mr. Wilde's work in a commercial release some time in the future.

members of FOX Squadron take in a local watering hole in an attempt to
teach the Zentraedi Ona Parino what's so special about guys. It
doesn't turn out the way they'd hoped.

Review:

Really cool fic. I love the characters already. Good prose and nice dialogue.
And a really, really sexy , almost erotic, descriptions. ^_^

After being "tricked" into a sleep over at her friend's house, Miyu is
knocked over by a college girl who seems to have attracted the interest
of a number of Shinma that Miyu has never seen the likes of before. She
asks Larva to keep an eye on them, unaware that she herself is being
both watched and manipulated by a shadowy figure.

Review:

A great fic, though there are a few typos and grammar mistakes. The
fic is really cool and I highly recommend it for anyone.

Sorry about the delay. As everyone wth CNN knows, my country is going to
hell in a very large handbasket. ^_^

Anyway, for the Filipinos and Filipinas on the list there are two conventions
coming up that I will try to attend. The first one is the gaming convention
that's going to go down at Ateneo. Gawd, I finally get to enter that place. ^_-
The other one is the Megamall anime convention, where I'll try to get my
Yuu Watase collection signed, but since the one hundred fifty pesos( three
dollars in American terms) is pretty steep after all my recent purchases(
Jigoku Sensei Nube vol. 1 - 39 and the Nocturne collection), I may not
attend. Jeez, one hundred fifty pesos is a day's wage. ^_^ Anyway, if I do
attend I'll be the old-looking lady with combat boots and glasses. So move
away if you see me. ^_^ If I'm lucky I'll be going as Haruka. ^_^

Well, after fixing everything that's still pending I'm taking a rest. Ja mata!
