[Scene - A volcano]

A figure in red armor bounces out of the top of the volcano, startling a group of scientists.

"Nope - no youja in there!" he shouts happily.

"Who - or what - are you!?" demanded one of the scientists.

"Ryo Sanada, Recca no Wildfire!"

[Scene - city in ancient China]

A faceless assassin races across the roofs of the city, with two warriors in hot pursuit.  The one with long teal-colored hair in a ponytail has a glowing red symbol on his forehead.  The other, with orange hair and carrying a fan, of all things, appears to be a bandit from his attire.

"LEKKA SHIEN!" shouts the orange-haired teen, waving his fan in an arc.  Flames shoot out of it, quickly toasting the assa-his comrade, Tamahome.

"Heheheh, sorry 'bout that, Tama-chan!" he says, and continues to run after the assassin.

[Scene - the inside of a shrine]

A young girl in a modified school uniform, a skintight white bodysuit with a short red skirt, sits meditating in front of a fire, her long black hair pooling behind her.
