2. I can certainly understand everyone but Urd being as
disgusted/upset at Mara's old job, but wouldn't Urd, being half
demonic herself and having investigated Mara for the job, be a
little more aware of the kinds of things that had gone on before in
Mara's life? (at the end of Chapter 2).
This bugged me, too. In particular, where Mara says "This is my
screw-up and I have to fix it." It seems odd to be calling it a
screw-up. Seems to me that when Mara set it up, she was doing her
job as a demon, and doing it well. I can see that she'd
have a diferent perspective now; but still ... Perhaps "This is my
doing" might suit better?
