  (More specifically, they, being a certain pair of Edmontonian fanfic authors, said they weren't interested in doing it, leaving me in one hell of a lurch.)

  But it will be!

  (Unfortunately, I can't claim any of the credit, having fumed about being turned down so long that it was almost too late to set up the darn thing. Fortunately, someone else had the same idea.)

  Yes, this summer's annual Edmonton Festival of Japanese Animation, AnimeThon 7 (held July 15-16 in the lovely Grant MacEwan Community College) will be holding a fanfic panel!

  But we need authors! All kinds of authors! So if you're planning to attend (and if you live in Alberta and you're not planning to attend, what's *wrong* with you? It's the hippest ticket of the year!) please send a note to that effect to Goddess_of_Cows@hotmail.com. (Don't send them to me or the list, I'm not involved in the planning of this thing and you'll piss off the Admins.)

  Come on! When are you going to get a better chance to beat the living hell out of me?
