"I wish things would go right for me and my friends, forever
and that you won't bother me or anyone else until this wish
is finished." said four year old Ranma Saotome to the
cosmically powerful and rather evil genie, who hoped to
trick the boy into letting him go so he can kill the usurper
Aladdin.
In the space of the next five days ( while his father was
getting the cast put on his leg, and arranging the
releasing of the cats.)
Two young people named Kuno were taken in by the local
children's shelter while their parents were beginning their
treatment at the Happy Days hospital for the Mentally
Disturbed.
A young man named Hibiki found a box of magic compasses and
passed them out to his family, causing them all to gain a
superb sense of direction and shattering a curse that dated
back to before Noah became a boat builder.
A young woman named Akane Tendo had a check up and when
cancer was found, started a successful line of treatment.
One which hardly interfered with taking care of her three
children and husband.
A cave collapsed in on it's occupant, dropping him into an
underground civilization so far advanced they had lost the
idea of fun. He would stay there for the next twelve
thousand years, collecting his darlings, until the last
cells of his body died.
A red headed woman found her husband and son, when said son
was featured in the papers for dragging his three hundred
pound father thirty miles after the father had broken his
leg. She immediately announced that Ranma was coming home
with her. genma could follow when he got out of the
hospital. When she found the Neko-Ken book and the Guides to
Forbidden ( for good reasons) Training Grounds. She told
Genma not to hurry back. She wanted to think and read a
little. Strangely no one in Japan ever saw Genma Saotome
again.
In China A little girl warned her mother before the musk
warrior behind her could attack. This resulted in the
Amazons having some prisoners, which they traded for a new
peace treaty.
In a certain mountain, a certain Phoenix god, played around
with a magic wand and put out his fire, turning himself back
into an egg and ultimately preventing him from trying to
conquer the nearby valley.
On the way home Ranma met a new playfellow named Ukyo and
they became the best of friends. A friendship which was
continued when Ukyo's parents moved to Juban.
Ranma studied many things, after moving in with his mother,
winning many awards for Martial Arts and many more for
Scholastic matters. He was admitted into a special school
for the extremely gifted where he met a nice girl named Ami
Mizuno.
At the end of the year, the Genie looked out and examined
Ranma's life and most probable future and decided he needed
some rest BAD. Cause this one wish was going to take forever
to finish this kid was going to have friends who would live
forever and an adventurous life no matter what he tried to
do.
The moral to this is trying to move the lake with a bucket
is a job even the Kunos can figure wouldn't work. So be
careful who you grant a wish to.!

"I guess I'm just an old-fashioned sentimentalist at heart.
I refuse
to accept a no-win scenario. I hate the thought of a
universe without
justice. If the maneuverings of dark powers can't be
exposed and
defeated by the pure of heart, then there's no point in
anything. I
can't believe that."
