Yes, the shop curtain is being prepared, and my kunoichi is busy cleaning the
place: the Ucchan will be open for business throughout AnimeCentral 2000.
Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal, but this time around... we're
barely a mile from the hotel.
This kind of chance won't come again. So...
Konatsu and I are inviting all attendees to drop on by. In a joint project
with Fanfic Radioplay Productions, we will be recording, live, "'Waters Under
Earth' for people with short attention spans" and a improv version of "Whose
Line is it, Anime?" for Internet .mp3 distribution. For those going to the
Fanfic Dinner, it will be right after that (we're going to be attending).
For anyone else, it should be around 9 pm. Those interested in watching or
participating (we need an audience and 'contestants') please contact me
privately for directions to the Ucchan.
In addition, we are going to be showing anime throughout the con, if what's
there gets boring (ha-ha ^_^;;). Of especial mention are the complete Utena
series and a fair number of fan parody dubs and subs... and a few rare hentai
anime (Ranma, Eva, live action Kekko Kamen, etc.) Again, contact me off-list
(I'm subbed, but on vacation) for directions. Okonomi-yaki (or at least my
version thereof) will be served.
