Thanks to Sparky for his feedback and pre-reading. Of his comments, about
eighty percent of his criticism was heeded to in one way or another. This
eighty percent is mostly his comments on spelling, grammar, word choice,
etc. although some remarks were ignored when, looking over the entire
paragraph, I decided that something were at their best given the corrections
I had already made.
Now, Sparky asked some questions such as "what does this mean?" and "is this
necessary?" and "does it have a point?" Basically, at about half the time I
saw these questions, I would reply with the following: "You betcha, buddy.
Mweh. Mwa hahaha. BWA HAHAHAHAHA!" In other words, yes, I do have a plan,
and somethings were diliberately left confusing and/or open-ended because
the format of the entire story will be the telling of a story with
references back to scenes in the prologue. Otherwise, why read the prologue
at all? That's my thought for the story I have in mind.
Again, thanks to Sparky. His critiquing was also helpful because it showed
me that I' a victim of my own accusations at times. That is, when I
pre-read for other people, there are times where I have a bone to pick with
every sentence. Sparky has shown me that I can make the same mistakes at
times.
Let's hope I make everyone's time worth it.
