Warning: The war in China is going to be anything but modern warfare,
especially where the Musk and the Joketsuko are involved. The Chinese
does have enough military power to take them both out rather easily if
they just marched in and shot them all. That would take away most of my
fun though.
Yes, Kenshin used a Sakaba to train originally, but Ranma was using what
was on hand in the dojo to train. [Akane often uses one to beat Ranma
with, I assume that's what they have for training with in the dojo.] He
lost his bokuto once the fighting started in China. [Haven't gone into
that yet.] As for his garb being a little unusual? Well yes, but the
Tendo's find out he's been in the war over in China as well. Also,
remember that this is pretty much the way Kuno dresses all the time, so
it might not be all that unusual in Nerima.
"Oro" is an expression that Kenshin often uses in the manga. It's one of
his little trademarks, they'll probably change it to something else in
the US release. [Damn them!]
As far as I know it's now Ruroni Kenshin, not Samurai X anymore, I think
they changed it back, but I'm not sure about that.
Ryoga is still young, maybe he hasn't picked up his traveling pack yet.
I don't think he had it in the manga when they showed flashbacks of him
searching for Ranma. I'm not sure of that though, it's been a while since
I've seen it.
I'll give you all the RK info you need to understand what's going on. I
changed Ranma's personality to fit Kenshin mostly. I'm trying to keep
everyone else in character, but be warned, the trip to China has
drastically changed things.
Ranma doesn't care who he marries at this point. Akane got railroaded
again and that's basically fine with him. As long as he can honor his
father's last wish. There are things in Ranma's past that make him this
way, you'll find out later on. Nabiki is probably pretty cautious of this
stranger in samurai clothing who carries a sword around in modern day
Japan.
Ranma might have picked up a few Amazon techniques, but I won't say how
or why, or even what they are. Why?... Because it's a secret.
Hope this answers most of the questions I got. I don't want to give too

to write the scene where Kuno faces a 'real' samurai for once.
