you do mention weapons, make sure they're accurate.

i guess i'm a stickler for stuff like this, but i always get a chuckle
at the common anime fanfic heresies on the list. (ie. there is no musk
dynasty, okonimiyaki isn't made with dough, and the modern japanese army
does not use the M16 service rifle.)
does anyone know any more heresies like the above mentioned? those of
you who are in or have been to japan, help out here! ^_^

ps. in case you were wondering, the small arms the JSDF currently uses
the Howa T89 asault rifle chambered in a reduced power 5.56x45mm
cartridge and the Swis Sig-Sauer P220 automatic sidearm. the japanese
defence ministry is now looking for new weapons. possible upcoming (not
confirmed) is the H&K G-36 service rifle.
