"She was injured by an Angel," Commander Ikari's voice cuts in
>from above.

I would like to take this moment to create an image. Combine
Zenjouro-sensei(sp?) with Gendou Ikari.

(for those of you who have not seen KnO, imagine a very effeminette
japanese Jerry Lewis with *massive* buck teeth.)

Gendo Zenjouro: Hey, kids! Wanna pilot Evangelions today?

Kids: Yay!

Gendo Zenjouro: Hahahah! Everything's just going right according to plan
then!

Sana: What?!?!

Gendo Zenjouro: Nothing! Tee-hee!

Babbit: No Lord, Please! No! I'll start 3rd impact myself!

"An-an Angel?" I stammer, more because I was scared of the
Commander than the prospect of the real battle ahead.

Kaji-Rei is pretty obvious, but your not really doing anything with Sana's
mother or any of the other 'Zenjouro's Kodomo-no-Omocha' characters. I'd
like to see Misato with funky hats and Pen-Pen living in them, ala
Maro-chan. Having Kaji as Rei also kinda sets up Misato to be Rei's old
girlfriend... can't remember her name at the moment (Sayoko????)...

Such a crossover had been brewing in my head since I first heard about
Kodomo no Omocha, but it was only recently that I got to see the first
four episodes. Boy, they weren't kidding when they said this series is on
speed...

Amen!

I've seen through ep. 24. Highly reccomended, even if you usally don't like
shoujo... It's got some twists...

For those of you who haven't seen this wonderfully funny series yet,
Sana speaks at an _extremely_ fast rate.

This really isn't sufficient. Imagine all the energy in Azusa Shiratore,
C-Ko Kotobuki, and Amelia Wil-Tesla Saillune. Combine that with Ranma's
sheer volume of ego and confidence and the raw talent of any three
real-life idol singers. Multiply the previous sum by 2. Now you've got a
pretty clear picture of Sana Kurata.

She's the kind of girl, who, when jamming and telling jokes at a funeral,
would seriously expect people to laugh and sing along, and have a pretty
damn good chance of actually having them do it.

I've tried to write the dialogue
to reflect that, but you should try to experience what this sounds like by
reading it out loud at about three times your natural speaking speed.

I wanna see Asuka do one of Sana's jam sessions!

Actually, the dialouge is pretty Sana-like.

(Then again, you'd better not: you'll probably either bite your tongue in
half or pass out due to lack of oxygen.)

I'm not sure how far I'll take this or whether I'm going to continue this
at all, since my lack of knowledge in KnO severely impedes further

Sana and Akito Hayama actually become quite romantic later on, even though
Akito spends quite a bit of time still in his shell. You could do quite a
bit with Shinji and Asuka's timid attraction to eachother with this. Unlike
Shinji's family, Sana actually breaks all three surviving Hayamas out of
their funk/extended grieving period. Maybe you should do something with this?

Sana, as revealed later in the show, is an orphan. Her mother adopted her
just after her first marriage ended. This has some serious paralells with
Asuka's mother, who was a suicide. Any ideas forming?
