If there were a cure, and Akane wanted to be cured, then Nodoka (at least
in my story) would probably have no reason to stand in her way.
Nodoka seems to
behave like a True Believer in a very aggressive church.
When you've been brought up one way, beleiving that you are right and
everyone else is wrong, it's hard to change your mind. Gotta start feelin'
