Ranma's fate was certainly a surprise. It's hard to comment on the
overall story without knowing where you're going with it. If this is it
as far as Ranma goes, then my gut feeling is that you probably revealed
his fate too quickly. This almost makes the identity of Akane's
poisoner
(which is presumably the focus of the rest of the story) a moot point;
does it really matter after this?
To tell the truth, I can't really tell you anything, either... Because I
can't do that without telling you what I have planned for the later
chapters.... All I can say is, when I finally finish the last couple of
chapters maybe you can tell me then what you think, ok?
If, OTOH, there's more developments on this, then I don't have a
problem
with it. Maybe the remainder of the story is going to turn the tables
and let Akane save Ranma. Or maybe she'll try and fail.
Maybe... ^_~
First of all, what's become of Akari? Ryoga went through his whole
internal monologue without her even crossing his mind. Why? If she's
dumped him, or he thinks she has, we need to know.
Oops! I forgot. Then again, I did always think that Ryouga still loved
Akane, and still couldn't give up on her, even though he was sort of
going out with Akari. In the revisions....

Glad to hear that you're still interested, even after what I did with
this last two chapters.... ^_^
I know, everyone who's followed my story from the first to chapter 6 are
probably surprised, and some Ranma-fans out there are probably preparing
their attacks... ^_^ But I like Ranma too, and as I said, I wouldn't
just kill him off without good reason. But I really can't say anything
else because I don't wanna give the rest of the story away. All I can
say is, when I've finally released the entire story, including the
ending and the epilogue, then I'll give you a long and hopefully
satisfying explanation as to why I did this, ok?
I'm a bit swamped with work (I just started on my first job this week)
so WFY would be delayed by a few days.
