CHAPTER 6-Look Shinji!Encounters of the furred-kind!-or-Oh no!It's RIKKI!
Shinji scowled at Ryoga.Ryoga scowled back.Ever since Shinji had seen that cat he knew he hated him.But,Ryuko loved that cat and he didn't want to tell her she couldn't keep the furrball just because he didn't like it.::Stupid homewrecking cat.::Shinji thought.
"Shinji?Why are you glaring at Ryoga?"Ryuko asked,just walking in to the kitchen.
"Um,er,uh......He started it!"Shinji pointed accusingly at Ryoga.The cat simply looked at Ryuko with his large eyes.
::Eh,I never DID like that kid.::Ryoga thought.
"Shinji!Don't make up excuses!"Ryuko scolded Shinji,then went about making dinner.
"Sorry,Ryu-chan."Shinji said.::I'll get you later,cat.::
"We couldn't go on as planned yesterday,sir."Appollo looked at Achenar for guidance on the situation.
"I know that,but there wasn't anything we could really do.The memory-sealing process is sensitive for 2-3 days,as Altaira explained before.If we'd tried our plan,The memory would come back to that boy quickly as soon as he saw us.Of course,it might not be that way with Icarus,Phorkys,and Appollo,since all three of you shifted your shape to another animal so that you would not be as vulnerable or noticeable.But I suggest using a better disguise than the chibi-dragon next time,Phorkys."Achenar looked at the gathered circle of animals.
"Well,I can only shape-shift living green things,you know,and I DIDN'T want to be a plant."The gecko looked disgusted at the very thought.
"I forgot,you and dionysus are limited to color-based shape-shifts,since you are only but knights,and the rest of us are higher trained in magic.Now if we were only a little bit MORE trained in magic,we could regain our human forms."Achenar sighed,it had been so long since he had seen himself in a mirror,about three thousand years ago,the same night it had happened.
"So,when're we going to go through with the plan?"Dionysus asked,rather impatiently.
"Probably tomorrow."Altaira said.
"Cool,the sooner we get this over with,the sooner I get to chase girls!"Dionysus exclaimed,and thought about this.
"Shut up,you ecchi baka!"the others all shouted in unison.Dionysus laughed and sweatdropped.
"Gomen,"He said,the sweatdrop getting bigger as everyone glared down harder on him."I-I think I'll go and think about what I said in that dark alley over there."
"You DO that,Dionysus."Phorkys continued his glare.
"Eh,the princess was lucky she died when she did,having HIM for a husband would've caused a SERIOUS problem in the kingdom."Altaira sighed,exhasperated.
"I HEARD that!"Dionysus shouted from the alleyway.
"Ya think -I- care,you sick little no good excuse for a fine breed of feline!You bring shame to your form's name!"Altaira snarled at Dionysus,her excellant night vision seeing him very clearly in the pitch-black alleyway.
"You're not so great yourself,miss prissy-fox-panties!"Dionysus yelled back.Altaira and Dionysus got into a big "who-can-insult-the-most-about-the-other" contest.Everyone developed very large sweatdrops over their heads.
"It really shows how much they care about eachother,the way they argue!"Icarus commented and laughed.
"HEY!THAT'S NOT FUNNY!I DO NOT LIKE THAT SICK EXCUSE FOR AN ANIMAL!"Altaira and Dionysus yelled in Icarus's face.They looked at eachother with scowls.
"They even talk in unison,they really must like eachother!"Phorkys teased.
"Just for THAT I'm gonna make sure you're half-dead for REAL when we go to the princess!"Altaira said angrily through gritted teeth.
"I take back all bad things I ever said about you,fair lady,just as long as you don't hurt me."Phorkys replied,backing up a little.
Okay,getting away from that,um,CHEERFUL little scene,we go to a darker scene on the other side of townsvi-eruh,Crystal Tokyo 3!
"Mars-chan!WATCH OUT!"Sailor Venus yelled at the girl with the very dark brown-ALMOST black hair in the red fuku,as a large beam flew at her.She rolled away from it just in time.
"I'm okay,Venus!MARS FLAME ENCHANTMENT!"Sailor Mars shot a large funnel of fire back at a strange monster with two tentacles on either side of it's head.The funnel of fire hit,hurting it badly.Sailor Venus threw a bunch of gold energized hearts at the monsters,and it exploded.
What's happening here you say?The usual,the young Cosmic Senshi(eh,mars,venus,jupiter,and saturn)sent out to defeat the routine MOTD(monster of the day).
"This would be easier if we had a sailor moon here."Jupiter sighed.
"Yeah.I was supposed to be hanging out with my friends tonight."Sailor Mars almost threw her communicator on the ground.
"Is that all you can think about?Yourselves?What about your mothers?"Sailor Saturn asked in a slightly reprimanding tone.
"Hmm?What mother?I was raised by my father."Sailor Venus replied.Sailor Saturn had a lot of things she wanted to say to help Sailor Venus feel better about her mother.Like 'Your mother tried to gain custody of you,but she couldn't.The court thought a model was too unfit to be the mother of a child.'she couldn't tell Sailor Venus that,though,if she did,then they'd ask her where she found that out.
"Well,anyway,Queen Serenity said that Sailor Moon should be arriving soon."Sailor Saturn told everyone.
"Okay."the others said in unison.
"But,it'd be more likely that the other sailor senshi will arrive before she does."Sailor Saturn added.
"We'll have time to get to know eachother then."Sailor Mars said.It was quite OBVIOUS this girl cared more about her popularity with others than saving the world from monsters.
"I guess that'd be a good thing.Okay,senshi,time to head for home!Get some nice rest and eat a good meal!"Sailor Saturn said and ran off.She hopped onto a nearby rooftop and began roof-hopping home,to the tomoe mansion.
The next day,at school....
Kitai Mizuno had always been considered the prettiest,smartest,yet sometimes,most stuck up and perverted kid in her grade.She was 15,but she'd skipped a grade.*Heh,kitai is a grade higher than Ryuko,oh my beautiful devious plan!*
Today,Kitai had been asked to come to the office.::probably want to give me another award.::she thought and smiled.She reached the office and stepped in.
"You wanted to see me,Hinako-san?"Kitai asked in her most polite voice.
"Hai,Mizuno-san,please sit down.I have something to tell you."Hinako-san said.(btw,she doesn't drain energy anymore,to you ranma-fans.they fixed her in a scientrifical laboratory*
"Nani,Hinako-san?"Kitai asked again.
"Well,I'm afraid your grades are failing and you aren't paying attention in class and plus that incident in the boys' locker room last week...We're sending you back down a grade,Mizuno-san.We do not think you are ready for the 10th grade yet."Hinako-san said in a depressed voice.
Kitai looked shocked,very shocked.All the color drained out of her face,and she blinked in fascinated horror.
The students in tenth grade were going about their daily jobs peacefully.They heard,suddenly,a very loud,earsplitting screech.They shrugged it off as if it happened normally.::Kitai Mizuno,again.::one student thought to himself.
However,this was not a common sound in the nineth grade,for as loud as they were,Kitai's screams had never before gone into the halls of the 9th graders,until now.Everyone looked around as they heard the scream.
::Jeez,how many WEIRD things can happen in a week?::Ryuko and Shinji wondered simultaneously.Shinji had been careful to stay away from the furry yellow mouse called "PIkachu".From what Ryuko told him,he didn't want to get TOO close.
Large,white,circular tears poured out of Kitai's eyes as she cried.*think Usagi,not Ami*
"NOOOOO!!!!!!"She whined loudly.
"No whining,you're 15 years old.Here's your schedule."Hinako-san handed Kitai a slip of paper.Kitai sniffed and wiped a large teardrop from her eyes.She studied it.
"Hai,Hinako-san.Gomen nasai.Sayonara."Kitai sniffed again and walked out the door.
"Ms. Haruna?You will be recieving a new student with a note and her schedule."Hinako-san's voice sounded over the PA system.*eh,I know,why "Ms Haruna" when I have called everyone else"blablabla-san"?I was raised partially on the english dubbed version of sailor moon,and I think Msharuna sounds a bit better than Haruna-san.*
"Arigato,Hinako-san,I'll be expecting her."Haruna replied.::Oh no,another annoying snot-nosed kid in my class.::Haruna thought to herself."Well,children!Let's try to give our new clssmate a warm welcome!"Haruna then said with a false smile smeared onto her face.
"Hai,Haruna-san."Everyone said in unison.
Kitai was still attempting not to cry again when she thought of an idea.::Ha!I'll still be the smartest,the prettiest,and the coolest girl in my grade here!There's no doubt the boys'll all be drooling over me when I walk in!Why should anyone be prettier than me who is my own age when no one a year and sometimes two years older than me were prettier!::She smirked and walked on.Then she reached Ms. Haruna's door.She walked in and gave Ms Haruna her note and her schedule verifying her right to be in this class.
"Thank you,Kitai.Please have a seat"Haruna said.
Kitai looked around the room,expecting longing looks from boys directed in her direction,but no male student seemed to even notice she had entered the room.They were all staring at one girl.Except for otwo boys,one who was being bombarded by a mallet froma girl with orange hair in a crooked pigtail and the other who was resisting to look who seemed to have had all his teeth recently replaced.He noticed Kitai and began to stare in sudden fascination.Then he was hit by a mallet by ANOTHER red head,only wearing strange cat ear shaped barrettes in her hair.Kitai turned her attention to the girl all the other boys were staring at.She growled in envy and hatred.The girl had long brown hair that had been loosely tied into a braid today.She had a perfect figure and she was also tall.She had strange gleaming blue eyes and a perfect nose.She was looking at her desk in a bored way,ignoring all the boys staring at her.::She can't be better looking than ME!::Kitai looked murderously at the girl.::Well, she can't be smarter than me!::Kitai smiled approvingly.When it came to brains she ALWAYS triumphed.She deliberately sat in front of the girl,hoping that it had just been that the boys had not seen her yet.They did not look away from the brown haired girl.She dismissed the boys from her mind and concentrated on looking at the new books she'd picked up.She heard a voice whisper to the girl behind her.she looked in the direction of the voice.It was a boy with brown hair and blue eyes.He was slightly muscular.She liked him.She liked him a lot.She listened to what he was saying.
"Hey Ryu-chan!How'd you do on your advanced Mathematics test!I heard it was a real hard one!"The boy asked.
"I got a perfect score.It wasn't really even hard at all,see?"The girl replied then pulled out a 15 page mathematics test from her bookbag and handed it to the boy.She looked at one of the problems on the test and turned grey.::No...WAY!I wouldn't be able to answer that question in a million years!And She got it perfect!::She suddenly smirked at the expression on the boy's face.His eyes were swirly and his jaw was clamped tight as he looked at the problem.
"Uh,maybe for you,Ryu-chan."The boy said to the girl,"But it makes me kinda sick just to look at it."
"Oh,I'm sorry Shinji-kun,I'll take the test back if it's making you feel sick."the girl's voice was sickeningly sweet to Kitai's ears.The girl took the test back.::So,the boy's Shinji?I'll have to work my seductive magic on him.::Kitai thought.
Ms Haruna read the note.It had been encrypted in a mizuno-safe code.
It read:
"Dear Haruna,
Pass this message to other teachers.Kitai is a good student,but a big pervert.She is also very stuck up and sucks up to teachers.Watch her closely.
Signed,
Hinako-san"
::A complete wild card I supppose.Both of Kitai's parents,Ami and Urawa Mizuno were very smart and shy and hardly ever even got the courage to ask eachother out at first.Kitai resembles her mother in a way.Big blue eyes.But she's got that weird long lavender hair,not the nice,dark shade of blue Ami's was.::Haruna Reminisced.She might be a little old,but her memory was as good as it was when she had Usagi Tsukino and Ami Mizuno as students.Complete opposites those two were,but they were great friends,and Ami strived to help Usagi get better grades.::Striving for a lost cause,I always told Ami.::Haruna almost laughed out loud.She looked around and decided to get the students back to work.
"Okay everyone,what is 50x2,317?"Haruna asked the class.Ryuko's hand immediately shot up.Kitai looked envious,angered and amazed.
"Yes,Ryuko-san?"Haruna asked.
That same day after school...
"Ok,Dionysus,the princess is walking up the stairs to her apartment building,let's go."Appollo ran out,dionysus on his heels.they ran in front of Ryuko.But,before they could pass her,Ryuko put her foot in their path.Just as they had anticipated.they stopped and looked up at her.She picked them both up.
"Don't chase that mouse,it's not what dignified siamese do!"Ryuko scolded Dionysus.He played the cat and startd playing with a strand of her hair while purring.She giggled."Do you two have a home?"the two animals shook their heads.They had once again anticipated this."Well,I'm sure Ryoga wouldn't mind two more room mates!And I'm sure I can coax Shinji into allowing me two more pets!"
~Heh,I'd like to get some "coaxing" from her!~Dionysus telepathically sniggered.Appollo gave him a stern glare.
Ryuko walked into the apartment and set Dionysus down.She grabbed a cage that she'd once kept a rat she found on the street in and put appollo in it and set him down on one side of a desk that had,um,mysteriously appeared in her room.She walked back into the entrance hallway,where Dionysus was still patiently sitting.
"Hey!Ryoga!Come here a sec!"She shouted in the general area of the kitchen.
Ryoga yawned and stretched and walked out of his nice cozy bed near the oven.He walked into the living room and saw the new cat.He walked up to about a foot away from it and sat down.If the other cat had been black and wearing a bandanna,they would look like identical cats.
"Ryoga I'd like you to meet your new friend!"
Dionysus looked at the black cat in front of him.So this was Ryoga.~Hi Ryoga,I'm Dionysus,nice to meet ya.~The cat looked bewildered,as he expected,and it looked around in search of the unfamiliar voice.But the thing Dionysus didn't expect was for the cat to look back at him and nod,as if he understood.
Ryoga heard the voice in his head.He loked around and decided it had come from the cat in front of him.::Telepathy?Didn't know cats could do that.I think I'd like to try it.::~Hi Dionysus,I'm Ryoga.~The other cat looked stunned.It had actually worked.
::He must be another one caught and turned into an animal.::Dionysus deducted.~Ya know,I COULD talk normally,but since the princess is here I'm reduced to telepathy.~He told Ryoga mentally.Ryoga looked very startled,but recovered quickly.
~I am a human transformed into a cat when he's hit with cold water.I can turn back by hot water.~
~Oh,damn,I messed up,didn't I?~
~Yep.~
~Oh well,you're still a cat,so you're no worry.At the moment.~
~I suppose.~
At the Tendo home,the usual events were taking place.Akane was doing her favorite past time.Chasing(and then,soon enough,hitting) Ranma with a mallet.He suddenly stopped running and looked her in the eye.
"Akane,I have something to tell you!"He said in the voice of a battered and bruised 16 year old martial artist.In female form.
"What,Ranko?"Akane loved to call him-er,her Ranko.It made him feel even worse about himself and his form.
"I love you."There,he-er,um-she said it.She/He expressed her/his feelings.Akane stopped.Quite stunned.She dropped the mallet.
"Y-you do?"Akane asked.
"Yes.I do."Ranko said.She walked into the kitchen and turned the faucet on hot.She filled a glass of water with it and dumped it of her head.She became he.
"So,why tell me now?"Akane asked.
"Well,I was thinking about that kid,Shinji Ikari,that I trained,and HIS love problems and how he was confused about what girl he liked and so I did a lot of thinking and I thought to myself,'Akane's always been the one I've loved.'
"Oh ranma,you mean it?You actually mean it?!"Akane practically demanded,not completely believing of him.
"Yes,And I want us to get married as soon as possible."Ranma answered her demands with what she'd wanted to hear.There was silence for a while,then,finally akane spoke up.
"Okay."Akane said.
"Great."Ranma and akane then walked into their rooms.Anyone in the tendo home that witnessed this had a large sweatdrop over their heads and a warm fuzzy feeling in their hearts.
"I eat goldfish cuz they're soooo delicious!That's goldfishes!"Icarus sang out,in his human boy form.He was carrying a strangely spotted squirrel.
"Would you shut up with the singing already!"Achenar complained in his squeaky squirrel voice.
"Sorry!I just love that song though!"Icarus replied.Anyone walking down the street would've seen a short red-headed boy with very cool clothes walking down the street talking to a squirrel.
"We have to go check with Altaira and Phorkys to see how they're doing,we don't want to look suspicious,so talk in telepathy!"achenar shouted to the boy.
~Okay.Oh I wanna be an oscar meyer weiner,that is truely what I wanna be,Cuz if I-~
~Do not SING in telepathy!~The squirrel rubbed it's tiny head in very much pain.
The next day in school,during lunch time,Kitai went off in search of the cute brown haired boy,sure she'd win him over with some feminine persuasion.She stopped cold when she saw him sitting underneath a tree,talking to that girl that had stolen all HER cute guys from yesterday.She stealthily walked up to a bush nearby,within hearing range.She listened to the conversation closely.
"So,um,Ryu-chan,do you have a crush on any guys around here?"Shinji asked in a slightly hopeful voice.
"Um,I love Kaoru,but I'm not sure it's in THAT kind of way.I love him more like a cousin.Or a brother maybe.Besides him,there's ONE other guy in this school I like,sure."She told Shinji.Unnoticed by him,she gave him a special look.
"Anyone in the rest of Crystal Tokyo 3 you like?"Shinji asked again.
"Um,yeah,there was this guy I used to know,he and his parents took me in for about 2 or 3 years.He had really nice parents,except his father was kind of a grouch,but I got used to him quickly."Ryuko replied.
"Ah.What was the guy's name?"Shinji was hoping to know how much better than people ryuko liked he had to get.
"Sorry,can't tell you!"Ryuko jumped up and walked off,with the 'please don't follow me,I have to do some thinking right now,'air about her.
"I think that memory disturbed her in some way."He said to himself.
::I think so too.::Kitai smiled in an almost evil way.This would be fun to bring up around school.She silently followed Ryuko to the top level of the school.She carefully hid in a placed where she could see Ryuko close up but Ryuko couldn't see her.
Ryuko decided she'd try for that fox again.She carefully lifted animals up off of it with her extensively powerful mind.She then lifted the fox itself up to the claw.She closed her once opened hand and the once open claw snapped shut arounf the fox.She pulled back and it came back and dropped the fox into the pit.*writer thinks about toy story and points at a once again bound and gagged mokona hanging by it's ears from the ceiling."Ooooh!The claaaaaaw!"the writer says in a cute toy alien voice.a sweatdrop appears over mokona's head and it says a muffled "Pu?"*
Kitai gasped.This was so weird.So very freaky.::So THAT'S how she's so smart!She uses her powers to cheat!Hah!This is too good!Now I can make Shinji notice me and hate her!::Kitai stifled a loud evil laugh and sneaked away silently.
Ryuko smiled and hugged the fox close,then she stuffed into her backpack and went back downstairs to the schoolyard.
Ryuko looked around for Shinji.She spotted him talking to the new girl.She walked over.
"Hi Shinji-kun!"She exclaimed once she reached him.The new girls seemed to momently shoot daggers at Ryuko with her eyes.
Kitai glomped onto Shinji.::I can kill two birds with one stone with this!::She thought quietly.
"Um,am I interrupting something?"Ryuko asked,slowly backing away.
While Ryuko was saying this,Shinji was giving Kitai'Get offa me!'glares.He looked up at Ryuko in surprise."No!No no no no!Kitai-san!Get offa me!I'm not your boyfriend nor do I ever hope to be!"He struggled even more to get the crazy girl off him.
"Would you please get off of Shinji,you're being very rude."Ryuko did her best to keep herself from smacking the girl.
"What're you gonna do if I don't?Use your powers on me?"Kitai sneered.Ryuko took a step back in shock.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about!"Ryuko stuttered in slight fear.
"Don't try to lie!I saw the way you got that stuffed fox from the claw machine!You used your mind to push all the other toys off it and then used your mind again to bring it up to the claw and bring it back!"Kitai had gotten off Shinji.
Shinji blinked,confused,not knowing what to think.::That's why she seems so smart,why she synched so well with all the evas,and knew about what happened to me the first time I fought.::Shinji's eyes widened in horror.
"Nonsense!You don't believe her,do you Shinji?"Shinji cast his eyes down.Ryuko looked stunned for a moment,then ran away.He watched her speed off,her abnormal speed keeping anyone from following her.
"Dammit!Why did you have to use magic for such a stupid thing!"The man with the blue eyes shouted at his scrying pool.Cosmic Queen Serenity ran in,after hearing him shout.
"What happened?"Serenity asked.
"They've found her out.Well,at least found out she can do abnormal things."The man said,worry in his voice."Oh,kami,please don't let anything happen to her!"
Serenity sat down hard on the cold floor in their secret chamber.
"We have to get her now.Bring her back to the safety of the palace."Serenity said in a demanding voice.
"No!We have to wait until her sixteenth birthday!No earlier or else history will mess itself up!"the man said harshly.He glanced at his wife and immediately regretted his harsh tone."I just want our daughter to live safely for a while,and learn a few things before she has to becomes the rightful princess.Damn it all!Why did we EVER agree to allowing some crackpot to genetically experiment with our daughter!"
"We wanted her to become the best.The best senshi and the best leader.To have a little of everyone in her.We're such idiots!We couldn't just be satisfied with having a normal daughter!"Serenity tried to hide the tears that were coming forth.
"She would've had the same abilities.The senshi's genes only heightened her abilities by a little.They also helped in future plans to make sure she couldn't be immediately recognized as the daughter of the queen of Crystal Tokyo 3.But we didn't even realize what else that idiot had done to her.I can't BELIEVE it!"The man continued on and on for hours,the grave mistake he'd made had gashed his heart.In his hopes of making a perfect product of two seperate races,he'd changed his child's future completely.::I failed her.Again.Like I'd done back then.I didn't get to her in time enough to save her and she never found out.Never knew what truly had happened.::He thought of something.They weren't of two seperate races.They were one and the same.He'd always thought himself different because serenity was always so happy but acted so limited while he showed off his magic a lot.But she didn't know,so she had reasons to act limited.
Ryoga walked into the bathroom.He jumped into the bathtub and pawed the "hot" button.*wooo!The amazements of the future!*A few seconds later,ryoga the human walked out of the bathroom and into ryuko's room.He grabbed his clothes and his backpack out from under Ryuko's bed and began clothing himself.30 minutes later,Ryoga managed to find the front door.
Ryuko was running.Running blindly,if she felt herself brush by someone,she just mumbled 'excuse me' and kept running.Finally she bumped into someone unpassable and fell backwards.
"I'm sorry sir,I wasn't watching where I was going."She said in a confused daze.
"Ryuko-san,what's the hurry?"
Ryuko looked up at the familiar face.She smiled."Oh,Ryoga-san!I didn't see you!You finally found your way back to Tokyo again?"Ryuko asked.
"Yeah."Ryoga said and lifted Ryuko to her feet."Hey,aren't you supposed to be in school now?"
Ryuko looked down."Yes.But let's not talk about that.Do you wanna go and get some ice cream with me?"Ryuko asked.
"Sure!"Ryoga smiled,completely forgetting the fact Ryuko wasn't in school.Ryuko clasped Ryoga by the arm and led him to a nice ice cream shop near the Crystal Palace,called Beruche's Ice Cream Legacy.
Shinji walked into his next class and sat down.Was it true?Did Ryuko actually have supernatural abilities?And if so,did she use them to cheat on her work?He heard the teacher call Ryuko's name.He heard Kitai was about to say something,he decided he didn't trust Kitai to tell the straight truth.
"Um,Ryuko had to go home.She was sick!"Shinji shouted out before Kitai could say a word.Kitai looked down at her papers,keeping her mouth shut.
"Thank you Ikari-san."The teacher replied.
Shinji was overwhelmed in his thoughts.All he could do was think back to the scene at the schoolyard.Why hadn't he told her he believed what she said?Why had he believed Kitai in the first place?::Ryu-chan,why do I do these things to people I care about?I'm still an insecure,hateful child,even though you've tried to improve me through your own methods.Sometimes you had to push a little to get me to succeed,but usually you did it through just being there for me.And in the one moment you needed me,I wasn't there for you!I'm such a bastard!I sick little bastard,too weak and uncaring to even answer a simple yes or no question!I hate myself!::He glared at his desk.
Kitai looked over at Shinji.::Hmm,what's he doing?He looks like he's about to take out a chainsaw and murder his desk!I suppose he isn't as perfect as I thought he was.Still,there's a possibility of me getting him,and I'm NOT gonna pass it up!::Kitai smiled evilly.
"Altaira?What're you thinking about?"Phorkys asked.Altaira had been in deep thought for 15 minutes.
"I just picked up on the princess's brain waves.Something's troubling her,so I'm scanning her mind."Altaira replied.Phorkys admired his fox companion.She could concentrate on many things and not even be phased.She truly had a great mind and great patience.With most people.Dionysus she could not stand for five seconds.No one could stand dionysus for five seconds while his mouth was running.
"What happened?"Phorkys asked.Altaira was definitely horrified by something.
"A student found out about the princess's powers.And Ryuko's depressed about something,but she's with a friend now,so I suppose she's okay for right now."Altaira answered.
"Oh,okay."Phorkys said."What's her friend like?"
"He's a nice,strong young man,very confused in the sense of direction department,but I think the princess is already working on that right now."
"He?Why does the princess suddenly have so many male friends?"Phorkys was obviously quite jealous.
"You're not the only one that finds our princess very attractive,Phorkys."Altaira gave him a sharp glare."She can take care of herself,she knows what's good for her,so don't be jealous just because you're not the only one that is head over heels in love with the princess."
"I'm sorry,Altaira,you're right."Phorkys mumbled.
"Okay,now we'll have to wait until later on to put step 2 into action."Altaira lay down."So get some rest until then."
Dionysus took it upon himself to explore Ryuko's room.Particularly,Ryuko's underwear drawer.He sighed in happiness and lay down to sleep in a pile of nice silk underwear.He momentarily wondered to himself why the princess had so much silk underwear,then dismissed it from his mind.The princess's comfort was what was important over all.
Icarus hummed happily,looking at everything he saw in much awe.
~Hey,Achenar,isn't the earth a lot different from the moon?It sure looks like it!All these buildings here,and that beautiful palace made of crystal right in the middle of the city!~Icarus telepathized.He was now riding on Achenar's back in his human form.A lot of people were scared by the jaguar which the cute little red haired boy was riding on,but after that incident with Ryo Sanada and his tiger white blaze,it wasn't as bad.
~The earth has always been very different from the moon,that's why we never spoke a lot with the people from earth.They were all violent people,the only thing they ever did was bring pain upon others on their own planet.Peaceful earth people were hard to find,they took the beauty of their world for granted.~Achenar replied.
~Oh.~Icarus thought about this.It seemed very obvious in the way people treated eachother here.The young boys would kick and hit and punch at eachother and laugh like it was some sort of exciting game.And people feared achenar's jaguar form,where on the moon they'd all take the jaguar as an equal being,not some sort of ferocious monster.
~hey!An ice cream shop!I haven't had ice cream in a long time!~Achenar looked hungrily at the ice cream shop,which was a good distance away.
Hotaru Tomoe stood in front of the man with blue eyes."You wished to see me,sire?"She asked.She shifted uncomfortably.It had been a long time since she had been in the presence of someone more powerful than herself.
"Yes,Hotaru-chan.I would like you to become friends with a girl named Ryuko Aino.You're going to be transferred to a new school.You two can help eachother a lot."The man told her.He handed her a picture of Ryuko.
"Hai,sir,I know Ryu-chan,you need not call her that around me.I remember looking at her face when she was born.She was such a pretty child."Hotaru gazed at the photo fondly."She resembles you a great deal,sire."
"Yes,she does,she would even more if she took off that human mask."He said."But she doesn't even know who she is,so,no bother in thinking like that."
"May I be dismissed now,sire?"Hotaru was anxious to get away.Being in a higher presence always made her slightly uncomfortable.
"Yes,you may."The man smiled at Hotaru.She smiled back and waved while walking calmly to the door.
The man walked into his secret room and stared at his scrying pool."If only you knew.I hate to keep it all from you.But don't worry,I'll make it up to you somehow."He sat on the floor and began to think.
Ryuko barely felt herself faint.She felt as though she was falling through complete blackness.She saw many things as she neared the end of her fall.One face disturbed her.
