hard
time beating it with level 15 Squall, so I don't see
how Akane can, with amnesia even. Ranma might be able
to, but without healing spells, it would be a close
call. FF characters are much more powerful than R1/2
characters, it seems.
When Quistis sees this,she asks Akane if she'd like
to try out her skills
in a test,and she is put in the field exam,in Squad
A,where she meets
Selphie and they become fast friends. The two meet
Squall and Zell in
the Dollet Communication Tower and so on and so
forth.
I don't see what Akane got to impress Quistis...
At least, not enough to get her to do some dirty work
to make Akane a SeeD candidate in a flash.

responsible for getting rid
of Akane(maybe Cologne?) and wants to get
revenge(finally fessing up to

I'm REALLY dubious of this one. Besides, are you
getting rid of Ranma element altogether? That won't be
any fun... Why not at least send some more R1/2
characters in FF8 world, maybe as a search party?
Sorry for so many negative comments, but, well,
this was my honest reaction.
