The lone girl stood deeply in the shadows as she clutched to her
stomach. She missed her mother already, she had lost her three hours ago.
The doctor walked in once more to see what he could do.
"Is there anything I can do for you Kimura-san?" the doctor asked with
as much compassion as he could for the girl. The way she had lost her mother
was not natural.
"No� No thank you�" She turned away from the window and walked out of
the shadowed corner. "I� I� think th-that maybe I-I should go home now�" she
stumbled painfully as she headed toward the door.
"Can I call a taxi for you?" He motioned toward the front desk.
"No� No� I-I think I�ll walk�" she hadn�t finished a sentence since the
doctor had told her that her mother was dead.
"Maybe you should stay the night here. I�m sure no one would mind."
"I have a place to stay." She mumbled and stumbled out the door.
"Mamo-chan�" a giggling voice sounded from down the hall. "Come and play
with me."
A young man paced quickly through the kitchen. "In a minute Usako!" He
knew what was next, and he loved the prospect. The phone rang unexpectedly
and he cursed wildly now that it had disturbed the fact that he could be
getting laid.
Impatiently he answered the phone. "Hello." There was a silence on the
other end. Almost as if Death resided there. "Hello?"
"Mamoru?" It was a woman. Her voice was oddly familiar, it had a ring of
death to it an odd sound, though even odder because her voice was so soft
"Yes?"
"Is that you?"
"Who Is This?"
"My Mother. She�s dead." The voice was shaking as she spoke.
"Your Mother is dead? Who is your mother?"
"She�s dead. She was stabbed twice."
Mamoru hung up the phone. Slamming it against the base.
"Mamo-chan! Mamo-chan?" The phone rang again, but to him seemingly
louder. "I�ll get it! Hello?"
"Mamoru?"
"Hold on. Who is calling"
"My Mother is Dead."
"Oh MY! I�m so sorry! Hold on one moment." She covered the receiver with
her hand "Mamo-chan, Her mother-" as she turned he was huddled in the
corner. He was pale white and his face sweaty. "MAMO-CHAN! What�s wrong!?"
As she ran to him she dropped the receiver that�s when she heard the chant.
"She died. She died in horror. The black mask struck her. As her car went
over. Hills and Mountains, You will never find the knife, Drowning is the
way you will die."
It's Very rough... I started it about 2 years ago. I thought it was
interesting.
