FNN: All Fanfiction news, all the time...

Open into a large TV newscast room, with several cameras, lights, and a
very nice oak desk, with a blonde, pig-tailed girl sitting behind it,
dressed in a blue and red suit. She squints at a cue card next to the
camera, then bursts into a wide grin.
'Hi! I'm Serena Usagi, and I'm the uh... placemat news anchorhead!
Yeah, that's it.'
Turning towards a different camera, a holographic image appears behind
the desk, displaying sevearl large mecha rampaging around downtown
Tokyo.
'Well, today our top story is... umm, ok, there it is. Pig Okonomiyaki
prices plummet in local Nerima! Oh, wait, that can't be right. Oh!'
She fumbles with her cue cards, causing them to explode into the air, and
generally throwing the whole place into anarchy. A flame-haired girl
just away from the camera throws her arms into the air, muttering something
about "idiots do NOT make anchor material."
Meanwhile, Usagi has continued milling about, attempting vainly to
capture the cue cards. In the process, she gets too close to one of
the lighting supports, poking a metal shard into her skirt. Pulling
away, the shard comes clear, along with most of the garment.
Trying to cover her now exposed derrier with the jacket, Usagi starts
whining and causes several lights to explode due to sonic reverberation.
'Waaaaahhh! Go to a commercial, anything! Raye, do something!!!!!'
The camera goes to a commercial, just before the sounds of thrown
objects are heard in the darkness.

A station 99 logo flashes onscreen, and the disembodied voice of
an announcer resounds offscreen.
'This has been the 3 o'clock Tokyo news, with Serena Usagi. Please
stay tuned for our upcoming feature, "How to kill two Ranma's with
one very big rock", starring Ryoga Hibiki.'

Author's notes: Not quite sure where this is going, but was semi-spurred
by the anime commercials of some time ago. This one was more of a
minific/idea/teaser/whathaveyou, to fish for comments/flames/irate
criticisms...
