A great read, by the way.
Thank you.

Author's Notes:
1) Canonically speaking, Genma does make a few statements in
the manga indicating that Ranma is his true son.
Specifically, his claim in the Dragon Whisker story that
Ranma will inherit his baldness. All I can plead is artistic
license.
Um, I thought baldness was inheireted from the mothers father? It's affected
by the fathers line, but the majority is from the mother's father.
Hmm, I've forgotten all about heredity and all that, so I was mostlygoing by
what the translated manga said.
I'm not looking forward to the next five years, myself. Allthough, I'm not
as bad off as my brothers.
I know. My dad's lost most of his hair and mine's starting to go as well ;(
2) Hiwai Oushi means 'obscene bull'.
3) Yami-no-tsume means 'claw of darkness'.
4) Jakuten means 'weak point' or 'weakness'.
Perhaps you are going to explore why Nodoka was so intent on honor, while
she is basically 'tainted' by her own actions? There was point in the manga
when she was about to force Ranma to commit sepiku, and Ranma took off.
Luckily, he later proved that he was 'manly' and dodged that bullet.
I guess she's committed to having Ranma's honour as her own. Becauseshe's shamed
herself and the Saotome name by her actions (doesn't
matter that he couldn't return to marry her), Ranma's honour becomes
her only chance to redeem herself and reclaim clan honour. Well,
that's my take on it anyway.
I just thought I would ask.
NP, hope my explanation makes some sense.
