	Why? To be blunt, I find it a bit sick. They're fifteen years
apart in age; Misato's a mature woman, and Shinji's a kid. A serious
romantic relationship between them dives into some very questionable
things which could possibly get you arrested in some places. I know what
Anno did in the movie, and what he does throughout the entire series with
Rei, but those are just...moments. A real story about Misato and Shinji?
No.
	I'm not one usually to discourage a certain type of fic; I do
regard the large volume of Rei-Shinji fics with some distaste (and guilt,
since I inadvertently inspired quite a few), but I'm not saying to stop
it. Something like this, though, I do advocate against. You could get into
far too much hot water with the likes of this.

I quite agree. I refer you to my rant earlier this year; Rei or Asuka and 
Shinji is quite acceptable, and most probable; Shinji/Misato?

Nah. It would have to take EXCEPTIONAL circumstances to get that. And it 
would also be a bit tacky.... I mean, it does happen in real life, but I 
don't like to think about it.

If it can be well written, or even done as a comedy/parody, then that would 
take the edge off it. If it were done as a purely emotional exploration, 
then THAT would be excellent.

But PLEASE...

And this is a plea from the bottom of my blackened, bitter and twisted 
heart...

NOT ANOTHER NO NEED FOR SHINJI!
