Thanks to ZeYoung Liou for part of the second scene.
The
evil twist is all mine though. :)
To be honest, I thought drunk idea was too
ordinary.
But in keeping with the storyline, I trust. :)
View! Through the Looking Glass.

Is your new psuedonium because of the mirror in
this story? ^_^
What? You can't tell that I'm irrationally obsessed withmirrors? :) The
titles in five and six were both a play on
the mirror idea in the storyline and a play on the name.
Zel smiled to himself. After all those years of
drifting
from one place to another, it actually felt good to
have
a home and someone familiar to return to - just as a
good
friend, of course. Zelgadis would one day find a
cure for
Ranma, he promised himself yet again.
Hahaha, he's doing Ranma; denying his true
feeling.
Oh yes, but this part belongs to ZeYoung Liouwho I mentioned.
Zelgadis looked down at the excited redhead
clutching to
him, and allowed a smile to form. It was at times
like
this that he could allow himself to dream a little -
a
beautiful home, loyal friends, and he could just
imagine
Ranma greeting him like this, twenty years later,
while
the children stood by, teenagers by then ...
Sniff, sniff... How beautiful... I mean it.
Again, credit where credit is due - ZeYoung Liouwrote both these
paragraphs in a post to me. Very
nice indeed.
Then, he heard a soft cry coming from indoors.
Zelgadis
cocked his head and asked, "What was that?"
"Oh, remember that victory celebration before this
last
trip of yours and how we both got drunk?" Ranma
asked as
she drew him inside.
Right here and then, I KNEW what happenned.
Of course, I did foreshadow it rather blatantly. :)
"And how we insisted nothing happened?" she asked.
And how we insisted that our clothing had been
stolen in our sleep, that whipping cream was from
party and nowhere else, that sores on our body were
figment of imagination, and... Okay, okay, I'll stop
now.
Heh.
"... and Zelgadis-san?" finished Amelia with a
sickly
smile pasted on her face.
A remarkable feat.
Not for Amelia - see Episode 1 of Slayers Try whenshe thinks she hears
Lina calling out to her.
"Ouch!" exclaimed Zelgadis as he removed the mallet
from
his head. "I'm not made of stone anymore, you know."
Wow, now Ranma's turning into Akane!
Nah, being pregnant and giving birth without a partnerpresent (twice)
will do that to ya.
"Urgh.." Akane gurgled, looking ready to puke.
She's being remarkably calm, given that her
fiancee had been (in her eyes) violated by a man.
True, maybe I can change this, and add more Akanereactions (or improve
them later).
"Waaah! Zelgadis-san!" wailed Amelia in distress.
Why would Amelia be crying?
Well, she does have a thing for Zelgadis. Watch theTemple of Marriage
episode in Try where Amelia
gets all jealous because Lina and Zel partner up.
"That's nothing," Akane commented, trying for >nonchalance,
as she peeked out from behind them both, "Daddy's >Demon
Head is much worse."
Besides, Akane can do a demon head too. So do
Kasumi, Nabiki, Genma, Ranma, and Happosai. Must be
an Anything-Goes School exclusive move! So shouldn't
she be at least braver than Gourry and Amelia?
They can? The original version did have her acting nonchalantlythough I
changed it - maybe I'll change it back when I rewrite
Akane.
"You are?" Luna seemed nonplussed. "I don't get it. >After
all those years of being punished, you should be doing
everything I say. Where did I go wrong?"
She didn't use candles and whips. Boy, I'm being
perverted tonight, amn't I? ^_^;;
Indulge in it and spread it around :)
"That's right, I did. Don't you get it, Lina? This >whole
future, it's a mistake. Which you caused. If you never >go
back, Mother and Father would have stayed with us."
And we would have a brother named Alex (don't
worry if you don't get it; it's LSSS joke).
And then you can see Bandit Slayer Sisters using
Amaguriken-Fireball, Hiryuu-Wing (what's the
difference?), and Dragon Takabisha.
Heh.
In a room above.
"What was that?!" exclaimed the girl as the floor >shook.
"Oh, probably just an earth tremor. We get them
occasionally here," answered the guy, eager to get >back
to their necking.
Umao and Ushiko in Slayers land?
Yup.
"When did you ever get so concerned with right and >wrong?"
A trace of bitterness clouded Luna's face. "But I >won't
stop you. Take this, then." She handed over two slips >of
paper.
Now here's where I have problem. If Luna punished
Lina for years, then why would she just hand it over
even if Lina is being rebellious? And why doesn't
Akane plead to Luna about getting her fiancee back?
She knows it's a paradox now, though she rationalized itaway as
changeable when she was a child. But Akane,
yes, I'll have to add that.
"A kick to the groin and a low-level fireball in the
face!" Luna chanted in unison with her laughing >mother.
"Let's go home and tell daddy."
Oh boy. May there be a mercy for Ataru Moroboshi.
Martial arts and magic - a deadly marriage.
I originally crafted a much darker version of this in
another revision but also threw it out. Luna was much
nastier in that one (who knows what's IC for her) but
again it didn't fit the series mood.
I'm so glad to hear that! I wouldn't have liked
it if this story turned into a sadfic. Even this
chapter is playing it close.
True, and I cut out the worst bits too. :)
Thanks for all the comments - they definitely help.
Phil.
