One of the major reasons I notice this is because one of the few

newsgroups

I frequent is currently experiencing the hell of trolls, and a rash of
idiots on top of that. It's refreshing to see that the horror that exists
there is not spilling over into my e-mail box, and I felt like making a
note of it.

That wouldn't be alt.games.nintendo.pokemon would it? I lurk there sometimes
and I actually wrote part of a fic parodying that situation ... but I didn't
post it because it might have made things worse ^-^
